Why usefulness, not raw capability, is the real test of an AI tool.
AI is becoming more powerful, but power alone does not make it useful. Useful AI should reduce friction, improve clarity, and help people make better decisions. It should support real workflows, real learning, and real outcomes — not trap people in hype, clutter, or disconnected tools that create more complexity than they remove.
Three tests we use
- Practical over performative. A tool earns its place in a real workflow, or it does not ship.
- Clarity over hype. Plain direction instead of borrowed startup language.
- Human judgment still matters. AI stays connected to real-world use and real decisions.
